Our Pres is making new laws by changing the definition in current laws. For example, on the books now is a 1985 law WARN act-(worker adjustmnt retraining notification) that requires businesses that are going to lay off workers to give their employees 60 days notice. Many co's are going to expierence this because of the "fiscal cliff"-sequester that will happen Jan. 1. (60 days from Jan. 1 is the Friday before the Nov. elections--YIKES!)
On Monday, Pres. Obama had his labor dept say using WARN act was "inappropriate" and therefore waived it.
